What a fantastic shop for good quality products - bought a reindeer hide at the Edinburgh shop. Had it a few weeks now in our old VW camper and keeps us lovely and warm on the cooler nights and is very soft to the touch. My wife bought me a @gransforsbruk forest axe from the Keswick shop for Christmas which is the most useful tool when camping I think I’ve got. Great quality products and great non biased advice
Fantastic range if clothing and outdoor stuff. Including throwing axes! Great for a wander round and the odd purchase of accessories. Very expensive

Shop is a little cramped with lots of stock on the shop floor. Could not have asked for better service though. Staff were knowledgeable about their products and we were approached by no less than 2 employees for help in our relatively short visit.
A modist annual subscription gives you unlimited access to all the walks. However you can Pay As Go by downloading indiviual walks.
Crucially you can also find walks France, Spain, Norway, Portugal and Australia!

I stayed here for 3 nights in a full service pitch with a family; I was in a hired motor home and this site was extremely easy in getting acquainted with the ins and outs of touring. Although it was really busy 1 of the three nights it was very quiet. The grounds are very clean and the facilities are well maintained. There is a pub on the property, but I wend for some food at 1900 and the kitchen was closed. The bus into the city is a short walk up the road and tickets can be purchased in the office. I bought all my tickets in one day, as the buses only take exact change. The front desk employees were accommodating and tend to you quickly.
Well appointed camping and caravan site but very busy with hundreds of stands. However we felt there were not enough showers for the number of people there. We were only there overnight and had the last 2 showers getting up at 06:30 and saw a steady stream of people queuing when we finished showering 10 minutes later. Having said that the showers were clean and rich plenty of hot water. Apparently there are frequent bus services into Edinburgh from the campsite making it very convenient for a visit to the city.
